Jamillette E. Blanco Muriente is contemporary artist and designer from Puerto Rico. She studied at the Escuela de Artes Plásticas of Puerto Rico. She works in book design at SM. She has worked in multiple art disciplines such as painting, sculpture, and photography. She has participated in art exhibitions at the Puerto Rico Museum of Art, the Museum of the Americas, among others. Currently, her artistic concept combines art and nature to promote the significant importance of plants in our lives. Through the exploration and study of nature, the artist uses dyes, pigments, and information found in plants to raise awareness of how wonderful our earth is. She also offers art workshops for children and adults to share experiences that are art. ♥
